Crownvention, organised by the Crowncap Collectors Society International (CCSI), is the largest and most famous event for crown cap collectors. This event has been held in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, for several years and it is attracting more and more visitors from around the world.

During the last edition, that of 2019, which was held from April 4 th – 6th at the Radisson Park Inn, visitors were close to a million over the duration of the three days, thus confirming the position of this event as world leader in the sector.

But what makes Crownvention so special?

There are many events around the world devoted to crown caps. In recent years, they have spread mainly in Germany and Spain. Weekly meetings are held in the various squares of Barcelona around the subject of the crown caps.

But lovers of crown caps with or without bidule have been in Harrisburg for years and they come from all over the world. What makes the event truly special is the experience itself, which is linked not only to the world of crown caps and collectibles, but also to craft beer tastings, parties and concerts: all this makes this event a real treat for all the “Capsaholics” who meet in Harrisburg to share their passion. Because, let’s face it, even if the Web, with its forums, and Facebook, with its groups, have managed to shorten the distances between people around the world who share the same passion, no virtual platform can ever replace a real physical meeting where people can discuss their passions face to face.

This is, in practice, the secret of Crownvention: it is a small event dedicated to local amateurs and which, to this day, attracts millions of visitors from the most disparate places.

Since its creation in 2008 to the present day much has been accomplished and we are convinced that much remains to be done, because the crown cap remains a passion deeply rooted in all collectors and lovers of drinks in general. This is a bit the mission of Crownvention and all the other events that bring together crown cap collectors from around the world: reunite people who are looking for others with whom to share their passion.
